The mission of Concert Opera Boston is to sponsor outstanding and affordable performances of concert opera in the greater Boston area. Concert Opera Boston also supports educational activities and other initiatives that enhance the appreciation of opera.

Concert Opera Boston’s Eleventh Annual Gala
was held Sunday, March 29, 2009
in the Dome Room at the Lenox Hotel

OperAffair was held in celebration of the upcoming performance of Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot. It featured a gourmet brunch created by the chef of the Lenox Hotel and a Silent Auction.

The highlight of the afternoon was an exciting musical program coordinated by Maestro Jeffrey Rink featuring musicians Barbara Kilduff, Julia Scolnik, Sophie Scolnik-Brower, Benjamin Werth, and Noriko Yasuda. Concert Opera Boston is grateful to the gifted performers for their outstanding performances.

Concert Opera Boston thanks the Lenox Hotel for its gracious hospitality throughout the years and extends its gratitude to all who joined us for a splendid afternoon of operatic entertainment and gourmet fare.
